The amount of goods being sold in Ireland was almost 10% higher in May 2007 compared to the same month last year, according to figures published by the CSO today.

The amount of goods being sold in Ireland was almost 10% higher in May 2007 compared to the same month last year, according to figures published by the CSO today.

In its latest Retail Sales Index, the statistics office says the value of goods sold in May was also up by 10.6%.
