Farmers urge MEPs to back ban on Brazilian beef

The Irish Farmers Association (IFA) is making a submission to the European Parliament today calling for a complete ban on beef imports from Brazil.

The association claims cheap beef poses a health risk to consumers as it is not subject to the same controls as EU beef.
