Abbey turns a €34.5m profit

Builders Abbey have announced a pre-tax profit of €45.4m for the year ended April 30. After a tax charge of €10.9m, the group made a profit of €34.5m.

Earnings per share were 118.66c. Group operating profits during the year were €43.8m against €45.4m the previous year.
