EU reaches deal with US on passenger data

The European Union today reached an agreement to share data on trans-Atlantic air passengers with the United States, diplomats said.

Envoys from the EU’s 27 nations reached a “basic political understanding” on a deal struck earlier by EU and US negotiators.
