Internet reviews send hotel stars falling

Consumers’ faith in the hotel star rating system is declining as people increasingly turn to internet reviews, according to a survey today.

Six out of 10 people still rely on the traditional guide to hotel quality but almost as many (58%) now turn to independent online reviews, the poll for architects Woods Bagot found.
