Cheaper phone calls for Irish people using mobiles abroad could be a reality by mid-August following approval of a landmark deal on “roaming” charges today.
Euro-MPs in Strasbourg are endorsing laws to slash the cost of making and receiving mobile calls while travelling elsewhere in the EU.
