BT regains position as UK's leading broadband provider
Telecoms group BT said today it had leapfrogged Virgin Media to regain its position as the UK’s leading broadband provider.
BT, which lost the top spot more than a year ago, said it had 26% of the market with 3.66 million broadband customers.
The group also reported a 15% improvement in full-year profits to £2.49bn (€3.6bn), following a stronger-than-expected end to the year.
