New car registrations up 4.7%

There were 25,991 new cars licensed in March, 2007, compared with 24,830 in March, 2006, an increase of 4.7 %.

First licensing of second-hand private cars increased by 499 (10.7%) on the same month last year, according to figures from the Central Statistics Agency.
