IBEC: Nurses in breach of National Agreement

Irish businesses representative IBEC has accused nurses of breaching a national agreement reached between unions and the government on benchmarking in health care by considering major strike action.

IBEC director of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Services Brendan McGinty said : "The decision by the INO and the PNA to engage in a serious of work stoppages is regrettable and is a clear breach of Towards 2016, the national agreement accepted by Government, unions and employers.
