Supermarket giant Tesco is set to defend itself tomorrow against allegations that it exerts a stranglehold over the UK’s grocery market, reports revealed today.

The UK’s largest supermarket is due to criticise the way in which the Competition Commission classifies the grocery sector, arguing the premise that the grocery market is “local” is flawed, according to press reports.
