Employment minister, Micheál Martin, has announced a €9m R&D investment by Irish company Silicon & Software Systems.

The investment, with support from Enterprise Ireland, will be used to develop technology for set-top boxes, video recorders, high definition television, TV on mobiles, and silicon chip design.
