Job cut fears at Citigroup

Global banking giant Citigroup is today understood to be finalising details of a sweeping cost cutting overhaul that could see jobs axed across its London operation.

The group is reported to be planning to cut 15,000 jobs globally, with concerns growing that its investment banking division in Canary Wharf could be in the firing line.
