The ISEQ-index of Irish shares managed to earn a small increase of 38.61 points at 9361.25 following a pretty grim day of trading on the market floor.

The ISEQ-index of Irish shares managed to earn a small increase of 38.61 points at 9361.25 following a pretty grim day of trading on the market floor.

AIB was the only financial heavyweight to report a gain, however it only managed to scrape ahead by 3c at €22.40 on foot of news that it is to increase its standard variable and tracker mortgage rates by 0.25 points.
