IFA seeks measures to combat cheap foreign food imports

The Irish Farmers Association is seeking protection measures to prevent cheap food imports from entering Ireland and undermining domestic markets.

The association claims certain sectors of the Irish farming industry could be wiped out if imports from countries with lower production costs are allowed to continue.
