ISEQ down as Smurfit joins exchange

The ISEQ fell 255.45 points to stand at 9186.7 at 10.30am today. Smurfit Kappa listed on the exchange at €17.50.

The financials had a poor morning, with AIB falling €1.02 (4.4%) to €22.38, Irish Life & Permanent down 80c (3.8%) to €20.25, Anglo Irish Bank losing 46c (2.8%) to €15.80 and Bank of Ireland down 42c (2.4%) at €15.80.
