Countrywide buoyed by strong UK property market

The UK’s biggest chain of estate agents said today it expected a “very satisfactory year” after reporting a healthy start to trading in 2007.

Countrywide said that while it expected the rate of increase in house price growth to slow, it saw no sign that the volume of transactions will fall below the levels achieved in the recent past.
