Govt urged to stop taking low-paid out of tax net

The business community is calling on the Government to stop taking workers out of the tax net.

The Government has used successive budgets to ensure that the low-paid do not pay income tax, but the body representing chambers of commerce across the country claims this is hurting the economy.
