Farmers 'facing extinction' due to supermarket pricing

Supermarkets have driven Irish-grown vegetables to the point of extinction, farmers warned today.

The Irish Farmers Association (IFA) insisted local produce may soon be a thing of the past because suppliers are not getting a fair price.
