The ISEQ index of Irish shares lsot ground today, finishing down 10.07 points to 9489.65 by the end of day's trading.
All the financial istitutions suffered losses today. Bank of Ireland fell 9c to €17.15, AIB fell 6c to €23.00, Anglo Irish Bank fell 3c to €16.12 with Irish Life and Permanent fell 1c to €21.49.
