Strike threat likely to cost BA £80m

British Airways today said this week’s threatened industrial action by cabin crew staff was still likely to cost it £80m (€121m) in lost revenues.

Even though the strike was averted at the last minute, the agreement between BA and unions came too late to prevent a hit to passenger numbers.
