CSO reports rise in long-term unemployment since last year

Long-term unemployment in Ireland has increased slightly over the past year, according to new statistics published by the CSO today.

An analysis of Live Register figures show that 30.5% of all claimants in October of this year were unemployed for a year or more, compared to 29.1% in October of last year.
