GlaxoSmithKline to begin major research project in Cork

Global pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline is to undertake a major research project in Cork in collaboration with UCC.

The move was announced today by Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin, who said it represented a major step in the Government's strategy to promote industrial-academic collaborations in the area of research and development.
