CSO: Average income highest in Dublin region

In 2003 the disposable income per person in the southern and eastern region was 2.9% above the State average while the corresponding figure in the border, midland and western NUTS 2 region was 8% below the State average.

In 2003 the disposable income per person in the southern and eastern region was 2.9% above the State average while the corresponding figure in the border, midland and western NUTS 2 region was 8% below the State average.

Figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) show that the gap of 10.9 points between the two regions represents a decrease on the gaps of 12.2 points in 2002 and 12 points in 2001.
