Aer Lingus delayed luggage backlog almost cleared

Aer Lingus has said it has almost cleared the backlog of delayed luggage caused by the tightening of security measures at British airports.

The airline says around 700 items of luggage checked in at Heathrow Airport in the past three days had been delayed due to the chaos surrounding the increased security.
