Friends of the Irish Environment is calling on the Government to remove VAT on environmentally-friendly items that could help Ireland meet its commitment under the Kyoto Protocol.
The call comes as Minister for the Environment Dick Roche prepares to launch a consultation paper on climate change this afternoon.
