New-car registrations up in June

There were 15,048 new private cars licensed in June, 2006, compared with 14,942 in June, 2005, an increase of 0.7%

First licensing of second-hand private cars increased by 1,665 (50.1%) on the same month last year, according to Central Statistics Office figures.
