Mandelson warns retailers over illegal goods dumping

Europe’s Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson tonight warned Britain’s major retailers not to tolerate the illegal dumping of goods on European markets.

He said the free flow of unfairly cheap Chinese and Asian products was not in the long-term interests of consumers – even if it meant lower prices in the shops in the short-term.
