ISME seeks crackdown on €12bn 'black economy'

The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) is seeking a crackdown on firms operating in the so-called "black economy".

The association claimed today that unregistered businesses were severely under-cutting legitimate operators, especially in the childcare and building sectors.
