The ISEQ index of shares rose 37.87 to 7679.02 today.
Irish Life & Permanent saw one of the biggest gains of the day, up 64c to €19.45. It was a quiet day for the other financials. AIB was up 5c to €18.85, while Anglo Irish and Bank of Ireland were unchanged at €12.12 and €14.15 respectively.
