The Labour Party's spokesperson on natural resources today said that the Energy Bill currently going through the Dáil should be withdrawn as it doesn't do enough for consumers.

The bill will pave the way for the creation of an all-Ireland energy market but Tommy Broughan says it does absolutely nothing for consumers in the present climate of skyrocketing gas, electricity and fuel prices.
