Economist predicts petrol prices will ease
Irish petrol prices will likely move in a range from €1.08 a litre to €1.16 a litre until the global economy slows, according to the April Bank of Ireland Global Markets Economic Research Bulletin.
"Ultimately, the price of crude oil and its refined components will reflect demand relative to supply, so the strength of the global economy is primarily responsible for the rise in petrol prices," he said.
