Third of Standard Life members are out of touch
As many as 700,000 Standard Life members have failed to get in touch with the insurer ahead of a key vote that could earn them windfalls averaging £1,700 (€2,456).
The group said today that around one-third of eligible policyholders had not responded to requests to validate details of their membership as part of the process involved in the demutualisation of the 181-year-old society.
