The Central Bank today warned of an increased risk of a sudden slump in the housing market after months of constant price rises.

The Central Bank today warned of an increased risk of a sudden slump in the housing market after months of constant price rises.

Backing the cautionary outlook from economists at Allied Irish Bank, it noted the cost of a new home had seen a significant increase of 11% in February, compared to 7% last autumn.
