Average industrial earnings up 3.1%

Preliminary estimates of industrial earnings for December 2005 show that the average weekly earnings of industrial workers increased by 3.1% when compared with December 2004.

Industrial hourly earnings rose by 2.1%, while average hours worked increased by 1% for the same period.
