Manufacturing sector continues to grow

Irish manufacturers signalled a solid improvement in business conditions in March as the NCB Purchasing Managers’ Index remained broadly unchanged at 52.6, from February’s 52.4.

Operating conditions have improved in every month since September 2003, with the latest growth helped by new orders and growth of output.
