ISEQ falls back from early gains

The ISEQ index of shares fell back towards the 8,000 mark today, down 33.48 points to 8011.07.

The financial sector performed poorly today. AIB made the biggest loss, down 23c to €19.58, Anglo Irish lost 8c to close at €13.38 while Bank of Ireland was down 5c to €15.45.
