Annual manufacturing prices up 3.3% in February

Factory-gate prices increased by 0.7% in February 2006. This compares to an increase of 0.1% recorded for February of last year. As a result, the annual percentage change showed an increase of 3.3% in February 2006, which compares to an increase of 2.7% in January 2006.

In the month, the index for export sales increased by 0.6% while the index for home sales increased by 0.4%. In the year there was an increase in export sales of 3.2% and an increase in home sales of 3%.
