Immigration policies could cause difficulties - report

A new report has warned that immigration policies here could cause serious difficulties for Irish workers if there is a downturn in the economy.

The report, commissioned by the National Economic and Social Council from the International Organisation for Migration also urged the State to take control of immigration policy and stop allowing employers to decide who can work in this country.
