The ISEQ index of Irish shares slipped into negative territory this morning, falling 14.45 points to 7139.82 by 11am.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares slipped into negative territory this morning, falling 14.45 points to 7139.82 by 11am.

All the financials recorded losses this morning. Irish Life and Permanent fell heaviest, dropping 30c to €16.78. AIB fell 14c to €18.00, Bank of Ireland fell 5c to €13.70 and Anglo Irish Bank slipped just 1c to €11.91.
