Postal workers to receive outstanding pay rises this week

Postal workers are reportedly due to receive a pre-Christmas pay boost this week when An Post ends a two-year freeze on employees' wages.

The move follows a threat by the Communications Workers Union to engage in strike action unless the company paid outstanding wage increases due under the social partnership process.
