Punters' winning streak hits bookies

Gambling stocks were down on their luck today after punters on a winning run of horseracing results hit returns at a leading firm of bookmakers.

Paddy Power said gross win – turnover less winnings paid out to punters – was €4m below internal forecasts in the past three weeks.
