The body set up to ensure compliance with social partnership agreements has reportedly recommended mediation talks in an effort to resolve the Irish Ferries dispute.

Reports this morning said the National Implementation Body had recommended that two mediators be appointed by each side in an effort to resolve the row over the "outsourcing" of jobs.
