Construction stocks ensured the ISEQ index of shares ended the day in positive territory, gaining 4.93 points to close at 6790.77.

Abbey rose 32c to €9.42, McInerney rose 33c to €9.25, Kingspan rose 27c to €10.36, but CRH fell 3c to €21.97..
