The ISEQ index of Irish shares got the week off to a positive start, rising 42.05 points to 6785.84 by 11am this morning.
Contruction companies all recorded positive gains this morning. Abbey rose 30c to €9.40, McInerney rose 18c to €9.10, Kingspan rose 6c to €10.15 and CRH rose 2c to €22.02.
