IBEC: 'Pharmaceutical sector losing competitiveness'

The employers' body IBEC has claimed the lucrative pharmaceutical sector in Ireland is losing competitiveness due to rising costs.

The organisation said the sector was being squeezed by high operating costs and the expense of conducting research and development.
