July exports up 1%, imports down 3%

Seasonally-adjusted merchandise exports for July 2005 increased from €6.9bn to €7bn (+1%) with respect to June 2005 and imports decreased from €4.6bn to €4.5bn (-3%), according to the Central Statistics Office.

Seasonally-adjusted merchandise exports for July 2005 increased from €6.9bn to €7bn (+1%) with respect to June 2005 and imports decreased from €4.6bn to €4.5bn (-3%), according to the Central Statistics Office.

On the same basis, June 2005 exports fell from €7.4bn in May to €6.9bn (-7%) while imports rose from €4.4bn to €4.6bn (+5%).
