The AA has accused some service stations of engaging in a serious rip-off by charging exorbitant prices for their petrol.

The AA has accused some service stations of engaging in a serious rip-off by charging exorbitant prices for their petrol.

The motoring organisation said the national average at the moment was around €1.16 or €1.17 per litre of petrol, but some retailers were charging more than €1.30.
