Ireland’s inflation rate falls slightly to 2.3%

Ireland's inflation rate fell slightly to 2.3% last month, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said average prices increased by 0.4% during the month, compared to an increase of 0.6% in August 2004.
