Sick days 'cost small firms €550m per year'

New figures released today show that businesses in Ireland are losing €550m per year because of workplace sickness.

According to the Small Firms Association, which just released its fifth annual report on absenteeism, small businesses lose an average of five and a half days per employee per year because of unscheduled sickness or absenteeism.
