Spending and capital investment rises, says CSO figs

The Central Statistics Office has reported significant increases in both consumer spending and capital investment in the first quarter of this year.

In its latest quarterly national accounts, the CSO said consumer spending was up 5.8% between January and March compared to the same period last year.
